Our class had a very fun Term 3. We were learning about the environment. The class chose to join a group. I chose fundraising. Our leader, Nabeel, was very responsible. Mia had a good idea. We were going to do a bake sale for our school to raise money for the Wildbase recovery. The plan was, we all cooked something and we would choose an amount of money for our baking but we had to send a notice home to prove to the parents that we were holding the bake sale.
The next day I looked at the baking and my stomach was rumbling so hard. Everyone made different kinds of flavours. Every piece of baking was either 50c, $1 or $2.
We had a huge success but now we must work out if we are going to have to go to the Wildbase Recovery or they come to our assembly. It was 6 against 5. So we are going with the first option. Nabeel and others are trying hard to find the right place to go but then Mia gave us an idea. She said that we can go to Massey University because there is a Wildbase Recovery there.
