Waterslide Green Pastures

This was it. The moment of my first waterslide at green pastures. While I waited intensely in the long line, I watched the people slide down, imagining that being me. I really wanted to do it. I’d regret not doing it. But the reason I didn’t want to, is because the water that day was cold, but I don’t care, I’m meant to take risks. It was soon my turn and I started to shiver with nerve and fear. “Off you go.” Shooed a parent. I sit down and the water pushes me down the slide. I nearly tip over but I keep balanced. I felt like I was going to die from either frostiness or nervousness but with big bumps and speed I splash into the lake and swim to shore. All of a sudden I think to myself, ‘that’s something I’m surely going to do again.’ So I run up the hill and wait.
