Alone At Dusk
I itch my foot from the brutal mosquitos. I’m alone in the wild and dark field. The sun is setting and I’m still not under shelter. I need food. It wasn’t a good idea to investigate what was in that bunny hole. Now I have dozens of bleeding scars from those harsh bunnies. It's getting darker and I’m freezing. I get my pocket knife and run. I see the sun reflecting on the lake nearby. Water! I run towards the healthy refreshment. I kneel down and drink. My throat felt so amazing I even smiled. But I wasn’t the only one drinking from the lake. I found 10 big, chunky, Hyenas. Lots of fresh meat. I am so nervous that they will hurt me. I slip into the water. They start laughing at me. But I don’t take it personally, you know, it’s kinda their thing. The sky is very foggy and I have run metres away from the water. I find a mossy log and I sit, staring down at my mood ring with my name engraved on it. Felix.
'This is a moment I'm alone'
The luminous sun is shining through the large dark tree. The clouds are everywhere in the massive sky and the damp log is laying on the grass, alone. The air is breezy and cold, and the time is ticking. 'This is a moment I'm alone'
