Zorb

I waited beside my sister in the cold breeze, chattering my teeth. The chunky, slate coloured van stopped in front of our eyes. A man walked out and greeted us. “So what are you doing first?” he asked. “The double straight.” my sister answered.
Speechlessly, we entered the old fashion, ripped van and drove up the hill.
He inserted about 4 litres of water in the empty sphere and he says, “right, now just superman-dive in.” He says. “Is the water cold?” I shiver. “No way! We wouldn't be so mean!” He considers. I was filled of relief when those words came out. My sister points to me and I slide in. The water was nice and warm! After me my sister came in as well.
“Ready?” He requests. We nod.

The next miller second we were splashing down the hill in the Zorb. We Start squealing with a large grin on our wet faces. The Zorb begins to bounce and we splash along. It was the best minute of my life. We stop at the bottom of the hill and jump out.

My dad shows us the video while we entered the spa pool at the back of the Zorb building. The Zorb felt so fast when we were inside but it was quite slow when your were viewing the video. It didn't matter how fast or slow we were going, as long as we were having so much fun. We stayed in the spa for a while, thinking about two things; Fun and Warmth.
It was one of my favourite birthdays ever.
