Tynker Solar System

Today we did an Hour of Code. With my partner Lachie we followed the tutorial to create this informative solar system. It has facts about each planet and I really enjoyed learning to code!

It was also really fun to collaborate with Lachie, who was an awesome partner!

As CEO

AS CEO
Hi, I’m Caroline, and I am the CEO of Rezner Ramps. I am telling you a little bit about the job of being CEO.

In the start, things might be a little uncontrollable, but later on it gets really fun being in charge of everyone and everything. Everyone asks you what to do, and you get to make all the decisions. Instead of seeing someone else make a decision you wouldn’t do as CEO, you are the CEO and you are absolutely in charge!

Cameron the Recourse Manager. He orders the wood, saws, nails and all the other materials. Richie is the Marketer. He makes sure that when we advertise it looks amazing! Sa and Jacob are both the Product Designers, they design the ramps and posters. Jakob is the Employee, he is a great helping hand. Lachie is the accountant, he takes care of our money. Lastly, me, Caroline, I'm CEO!

The business is really fun. Later when we start building the ramps, it’ll be even more fun. As CEO you are in charge of when everyone does things, how everyone does things, why, where and who! It’s amazing!

Well, now that you know how fun it is being CEO, you could even become one yourself! If you do, good luck.

The Evil Orphanage

12 December
This is my 7th year in the Riften orphanage, I still haven’t been adopted. I want to live a life of my own, but the matron, Brenda, wouldn’t let us. There are ten of us kids, with three friend-groups. Sylvari, Tristan, Perth and Flynn are in one,  Pax, Zac and Winton are in another, and Lydia, Muiri and me, Erith are in the last. Muiri and Lydia are my best friends here. Muiri is the crazy seven year old and Lydia is a mature nine year old, while I’m eight. Muiri always likes adventures and she’s always energetic and she only likes fictional novels. While Lydia loves reading books, especially non-fictional facts and books.
I’m somewhere in the middle, I don’t actually care whether things are real or not. I just like it all. “Erith!” My ear twitches and I see Lydia and Muiri running towards me. “It’s snowing! Look outside the window!” I stand up and look through the window. It really is snowing! “Wow! That’s so cool! I wanna touch it!” I cheer filled of excite. I run towards my chest and put my hat on, along with my gloves, winter jersey and scarf. I walk towards the front door and find my boots lying down on the mat. I slip them on and turn to face Lydia and Muiri, which are, too, dressed up ready for the snow. “Let’s go!” Lydia runs towards the door, twisting the door handle, but Muiri grabs her shoulder. “Wait! We can’t go without Brenda’s permission!” “But Brenda is a nasty witch! How about Helena?” Lydia points to Helena, the second matron in charge. The three of us run up to her and poke her on the arm while she’s knitting a wooly hat. “Who’s that for?” Muiri quers. “This? This is for me.” Helena boasted. “It looks nice.” Lydia smiles. “Stop bothering me, what do want?” Helena places the knits and the unfinished wooly hat on the table in front of her. “We want to go outside. It’s snowing.” I point to the window on our right, and Helena looks at it in wonder. “I’m afraid it’s not up to me. Go ask Brenda.” “No! We’re too scared to speak to Brenda!” Muiri gulped. “I’ll go talk to her and we’ll see what she says, ok?” The three of us nod, and Helena stands up to walk into Brenda’s office. I find the office scary, in fact, I bet all the children here do. There are half a dozen animals’ heads’ on the wall, and scary books on the scary bookshelf. And what tops it off is Brenda herself, her wrinkles, her grey hair, her long fingernails tapping on the desk! We hear a mumble through the oak door to the office, then Helena comes out. “Only for 5 minutes.” “Better than nothing!” Muiri charges at the door, Lydia and I follow. The snow crunches under my feet, and Muiri is ahead of us, grabbing a bunch of snow and throwing it up high. I run over to her and she shapes the snow into a ball. Then rapidly throws it at my face. “Hey!” I throw a snowball at her in the face too, and Lydia comes along, throwing snowballs at the both of us. We start a snow-war, and the three of us fall on the ground laughing. We smoothen down, and Muiri stands up. “Let’s make a snowman!” “We don’t have a carrot!” Lydia complains. Muiri looks down at her shoes, looking curious. “Then we can use something else… like a… rock!” She runs over to the pathway with all sorts of different sized stones. She picks up one big one, thirteen medium sized ones and two sticks . “What are we waiting for?” Lydia and I jump up and start rolling a huge ball of snow, while Muiri rolls up a slightly smaller one. We pile the smaller snowball on the larger one, and we start rolling an even smaller one. Then when the three snowballs are piled, we push two stones into the top part as the eyes, the rock as the mouth, five stones as the smile, two sticks for the hands and the rest as the buttons down its body. I lend the snowman my beanie and Muiri gives it her scarf. We stand back and look at our snowman. “He’s so cute!” Lydia goes up to hug him, but his top snowball falls off and when it hits the ground it just falls apart. “Lydia!” Muiri runs up to the broken snowman and takes her scarf. She wraps it around herself while I take my beanie, and put mine on. Then suddenly the door to the orphanage creaks open and Helena comes out. “Girls! Come back inside before Brenda comes!” We come inside and take our ‘outside’ clothes off.

Muiri goes writing in her diary, Lydia starts reading her book and I sit by the warm, cosy fire. Pax comes and sits down next to me. “How are you?” “I’m doing well, I hope. How are you doing?” “I’m feeling really sad. I thought somebody was going to adopt me, but clearly I’m not worth it.” “Pax, don’t say that, I’m sure someone out there wants you. Maybe the time hasn’t come, you just need to wait.” He looks back at the fire. “You know what? You’re right. I just need to wait.” Then Brenda comes into the room with her usual face, which is a mad face. She grabs our shoulders and yells. “Stop the chatter and clean those dishes!” She pulls our shirts, forcing us to stand. Then she pushes us into the kitchen. “Wow…” Pax grabs a dish and hands it to me, then we wash the plates, stacked up on a pile beside the sink. I grab the soap, and rub it against the plate. We wash all the dishes, including cutlery. We dry our hands and I run up to Lydia and Muiri. “I’m starving.” Lydia rubs her stomach. “Same.” Muiri rubs hers too, and I sit down on Muiri’s bed. “What do you want to do?” I pat the duvet cover and look at Lydia. “I want to eat.”  “Other than that?”  “Uh… Play a game?” Muiri looks at the clock. 6:27. “Dinner’s soon, but in the meantime we could play-” Muiri gets interrupted by Brenda. “Sylvari and Winton! Get those plates on the table! Perth and Flynn, Cutlery! Muiri and Zac go put all the food on the table! Erith and Tristan go get the chairs! And Lydia and Pax, go get the cups and drinks! Hurry up with it!” I look at Lydia and Muiri, they’re both blushing. Lydia likes Pax and Muiri likes Zac for all their lives, well, actually more than like. We all get going and I see Tristan by the chairs. “Hi.” Tristan looks at me. “Hello. Let’s get on before Brenda yells again.” I point to the stacked chairs. We both pick one up, and he says, “what have you been doing today?” “I played in the snow.” I look outside the window to see if it’s still snowing, but now it’s too dark to tell. “I didn’t do anything. How do you feel about Brenda?” “I don’t like her. She’s mean and scary, but Helena is really nice. Brenda just doesn't seem like she’s… you know?” Tristan nods, “yes, I know what you mean.” We start carrying chairs to the main table until they’re all there. Then I meet Lydia and Muiri standing in the corner, whispering to each other. I start towards them, but Sylvari bumps right into me. “Oh sorry, I didn’t see you there.” I try push past her but she pulls my arm. “Stop!” I shout.  “Don’t think your part of the cool-group.” “What…? I don’t even-” “Stop pretending like you have no clue what I’m talking about! Just warning,  you won't be a part of us. How do I know that you're trying to be like us? Your actions towards Tristan! Your persuading him to be with us! Erith, your not cool, just get over it and be in your dorky group. ” “What are you even on about?” “Just stay away from all of us, and I’ll stop annoying you.” She let’s go of my arm vigorously, and I walk towards Lyd and Muiri again, rubbing my arm. Sylvari is part of the cool friend-group of four, with Tristan, Perth and Flynn. Then there’s our little friend-group, and also Pax, Zac and Winton. I join Lyd and Muiri. “I can’t believe it!” I lean against the wall. “Can’t believe what?” Muiri questions. “Didn’t you just see that whole Sylvari thing?” They look at each other and back at me, shaking their heads. “Ok, so here’s what happened. Tristan and I had to take the chairs-” Then Brenda interrupts, “everyone take a seat for dinner!” We sit down and I find Tristan sitting next to me. Sylvari glares at me wide-eyed from across the table. She slides her finger across her throat. I gulp, and put the food I want onto my plate. I take the pickles, noodles, carrots, pumpkin, nuts and mince. Great dinner!

We finish eating with a full stomach, and we go sit back down, waiting for our turn to wash. Three people get called up at once, because there are three different showers. “What were you saying, Erith?” Asks Lydia, sitting down on my bed. “We had to take the chairs, and we started talking because, well, why not? Then when we finished I went to talk to you guys but Sylvari stopped me and said this: ‘Tristan is mine.’ I had no clue what she was on about, but and I said so. Then she said: ‘Stop pretending you don’t know! He. Is. Mine!’ I still had no clue, but I just played along.” I finish talking there is an awkward silence between us. “Nasty Beast.” Muiri looks at the floor. “Who’s worse? Brenda or Sylvari?” Lydia smirks at the both of us. “They’re both as nasty as a Wasp, but in different ways. I don’t know which one.” Lydia looks at Sylvari, then at Brenda. “I agree.” I lie-down on the bed, and stare at the ceiling. When the three of us get called up, we wash in the showers, brush our teeth and fall asleep.

Dawn- 13 December
I can’t wait until Christmas arrives. There are twelve more days, I’m even counting down the days on my calendar hanging on the end of my bed. I suddenly wake up, thinking of my dream that night. Every dream I’ve ever had is pointless. But at least they’re not real, they’re just inside my head, playing mind-games on me. I sit up and look around the room to see if anyone else is awake, but all heads are down, and all eyes are closed. Usually if anyone wakes up in the night, it would be because of Winton. He snores and sleep-talks. Once he woke up Brenda really loud and she marched to him and yelled at him, but he still slept. And he even started snoring even louder, and said inside his dream, “Shut up!” -Really loud, so that just made Brenda even more mad, and she slapped him, then he woke up. I saw it all with my own eyes, because I was already woken by his loud snorty snores.
I check if it’s snowing outside, but it isn’t. This is going to be another pointless day. So I’ll just wait here until somebody else wakes up.

Dawn 13 December
I finally hear the sound of someone's breathing get louder, and they wake up and stretch, I don’t need to see that, because I can hear it well. No head rises, but I wait for it anyway. And finally, someone sits-up. But I’m unlucky. It’s Sylvari. I flop back down and stare at the ceiling again. I’m so bored.

Morning 13 December
After lying down in bed for another three hours, a few people wake up. Luckily, some of those people are Lydia and Muiri. I dress into my day clothes and slip my slippers on. Just as I finish Brenda walks out of her room and yells. “Everyone wake up!” She clashes two pot lids together. The rest of the kids start waking up, and Brenda tells us to make breakfast. “Pax and Winton you're making pancakes. Zac and Flynn you're preparing the toppings for the pancakes. Sylvari and Perth you make the drinks. Muiri and Lydia you fry the bacon and lastly, Erith and Tristan you make the scrambled eggs.” Sylvari squeaks and hugs Perth, but turns to me with her evil-eye, glares at me and turns back to Perth. We all go to the kitchen and do our jobs. “Looks like it's you and me again then.” Says Tristan rubbing his eyes. “Yeah, I guess it is.” I say, looking for the eggs in the fridge. “You get the frying-pan and melt the butter on it. Also get a big bowl.” Tristan nods, then opens the cupboard and takes out the frying-pan and bowl while I wait with the eggs. He puts the frying-pan on the stove and cuts some butter off the butter-block, then places it on the frying-pan on the stove which I already turned on. “Also get the wooden spoon please.” He takes it out of the top shelf and passes it to me. I wait for the butter to melt so I can mix it around. When the butter’s melted, without a signal, Tristan gives me an egg. I smile at him and crack the egg on the edge of the pan, then open it and tip the eggshell so the yolk and egg-white fall out and start frying on the frying-pan. But before the egg becomes a fried-egg, I mix it up and wait. Then I started mixing more, and adding eggs more. When the scrambled eggs cook, Tristan tips it into the bowl, then I start making more. We make about seven frying-pans of scrambled eggs, and by the time we’re done, everyone is too. Brenda yells again, telling us to set up the table for breakfast. But again, Sylvari stops me. “I saw you flirting with him! You have one more chance, Erith! If I see you with those googly-eyes with him, you are dead meat! I swear!” I open my mouth to speak but I don't have the guts to abuse her. Instead I keep it simple and say, “whatever.” I turn around, walk away, and do my job. For breakfast I sat down on the long side of the the table. As usual, I sit next to Muiri and Lydia, but I’m on the right, Lydia’s on the left and Muiri's in the middle, so it means that Lydia and I have to sit next to someone else. And just like every Drama-Situation, Lydia’s next to Pax and I’m next to Tristan. Sylvari will not like this.

My Holidays

In the holidays I didn’t get up to as much as many others did. I was free all along, but that’s not it. I’ll tell you one of the best days I enjoyed.

The first week nothing happened. Not at all. But the second week got exciting. We found out that we were going skiing! So on the 23rd of July, my family woke up at 8AM to drive a 3H drive up to the amazing skiing range, on Mt. Ruapehu. But something lowered my mood. My brother didn’t want to come because my dad said the ‘harder’ track is closed. My sister said she didn't want to ski because she didn't feel like it. So my parents decided to just pay for my rides.

We arrive there at 11:27, we wanted to stop for some breakfast on the way. I dress into my proper skiing clothes and we walk up to the escalator. The queues were incredibly long, it took 20 minutes to get to the counter. We got sorted and I finally went out to the range. I wave good-bye to my dad who stood near the exit, and ski right off. It felt so weird skiing, I didn't ski for 2 years. And I wasn’t surprised…

I trip up, right on my face. I hear people laughing at me from above, they're sitting on the seat thingies that you sit on and, it brings you back to the start of the course. I don't know what they're called though. But what was important was that I get up. I found that my skiing sticks were scattered around behind me, along with my left foot ski’s. The laughter continues and I stand up with my right ski still on. I click my left foot shoe to the ski, pick up my sticks and continue. In that one round I fell 5 times. Don’t blame, I said I haven't been skiing for 2 years.

Luckily the next few rounds I only fell once every time, but even better, the rest of the time I didn't fall at all. The wind was so cold, slicing the air and bashing my face, luckily I had ski goggles, which stopped the snow from flying in. Since I didn't have anyone to ski with, I had other people to sit with on the ‘flying chairs.’ Some people sat quiet, and looked the other way, some people said a few words. Sometimes I was by myself, which meant I finally had some time to think properly. But most of the people I say with talked, and were very nice. Their questions weren't too personal, but not so weird either. Like, “what town are you from?” Or, “how old are you?” Sometimes “what's your name,” “do you like skiing?” Those people were really nice, and that's what lightened my mood.

It's not like I never fell again while skiing, I fell every now and then. I’d say skiing is like a book of choices. Either go this way or that way, that way or this way, downhill or straight. Wrong choice and your tripped. Exactly what happened to me. I decided the wrong things, like going slightly downhill leading me to bashing straight into a rock, or going left and tripping over someone's ski’s, even staying straight and crashing right into a pole. Those didn't hurt too much, despite my great speed. Once I even nearly bashed into a little child, but somehow I thought so fast, I turned right sharply, and nearly fell! Nearly fell! I saved myself! Fortunately the child was safe- so was I.

Skiing was so fun, and I’ll never forget it. When it was 4:00, the whole business had to close because of some reason I didn't know of, maybe because it was getting darker. My starvation was so large, we stopped at subway in Taihape, then returned home safely.

Cross country

Throughout my years of College Street I always loved cross country. I never had the experience to do cross country on our school field because I was always sick. But then when the teachers gave me the opportunity to run a long track, on a real farm, I somehow asked my body's’ system to stop me from getting sick, which was a total success thrice, because year three I didn't make it.

Year four I came 3rd, year five I came 5th and if you want to find out what I came this year? Read till the end.

RACE BEGINS
I was looking at my watch every single minute, looking forward to 11:00, when the year six girls start their race. The wait was so intense looking at others, especially that I was about to run myself. I was so bored I just decide to eat an energising mandarin. Sa and I play this game where you peel your mandarin and if you get the root out of the centre, it's your 🍀 day, but if you don't then it's your unlucky day. So I peeled, filled of hope. Then, ‘yes!’ I get the root out! It's my lucky day.
Then suddenly my watch beeps and eleven o'clock strikes. “YEAR SIX GIRLS COME LINE UP!” Mr V yelled. The girls all ❄ their way up to the tall man. “Great, now we have a warm up.” Mr V commanded. We did lunges and jogging and arm stretches- that only made me even more nervous.

Time flew so quickly I didn’t even get to calm myself. Then the whistle blew. We were all running up the hill and I could see that I had 5 girls in front of me. ‘Already?’ I think. The hills were wide open, wide enough to fit us all. I nearly slip in the next downhill. But I keep myself going painlessly. There were so many holes in the ground, that ankles would be easily broken! “Ah!” A girl squeaks, I look behind me seeing her losing her 👟. ‘Don't stop!’ I plead myself.

The worst uphill was only moments later, filled of mud and 🐮💩. I was so close to falling face first but I stopped it from happening . I reach the top of the hill feeling like a winner, but then I wasn't a 🏆 just yet. A girl in front of me pants so hard she slows down and I past her. Yay! I’m fifth! If only I stay like this there could be a huge possibility I would get into Inter-school.

The ☀ was shining in my eyes so bright, I was figuratively melting. Downhills, uphills, flatlands, holes-in-the-ground, nearly-breaking-ankle moments everywhere. I was timing myself on my watch, so far I ran for 12 minutes. Yes, I’m only halfway and that's how long the tiring race was. Then something pops up faraway in the distance of my eyesight… Hay bale. I don’t bother to jump over it, instead I just climbed over it.

Sun’s still shining right in my face. I can see the finish, yes! I speed down the butter yellow steep hill and expect to trip up, but it's my lucky day. I sprint to the finish with nobody cheering on. 😐. Nobody knows meh name. Oh well. I cross the finish line and Margaret asks me what my name is and I reply, “Caroline Rezner.” “Spelt?” She asks. “R E Z N E R.” “Ok grab a seat.” Before I do, I look at her chart of names with me, being 5th!

That was the tiring 20 minutes of our cross country day.

Pigeon Impossible

The day started with a lovely walk along the smooth paths of Washington D.C. The rush hour is high and the roads are full. But I have an important mission to complete. “Aha!” I spot the man with the cloud-coloured suitcase in his hands. I walk casually past him, and gently lay my hands on that desirable box of agent-stuff. I place it on the lime coloured old bench. Oh yes! Now the precious suitcase that I’ve been wanting for months, was all mine.

This reminded me of my days in London, where every gentleman were owning a black suitcase. But now I am a highly trusted, top notch junior agent in the CIA.
The sweet silky bagel I pinched earlier today, melts in my mouth as I explore the posh suitcase itself. Randomly, a Pigeon out of nowhere rests on the bench along with me. Its eyes persuade me to give him a petite piece, so I break some off and throw it away so it won’t bother me even further. But apparently the Pigeon wasn’t wanting the bagel. It stands there on its little carrot coloured legs and waits for me to do something.
Next few seconds it was strangling my face, then suddenly stops. ‘Is this some kind of joke?’ I think. I flick off the feathers and see the lousy Pigeon shut in MY FASHIONABLE suitcase.

I was incredibly confused. The suitcase was jumping around. Somehow. I chase after it but a gun rises and aims on me. Flaming bullets sliced the air and unstoppably uncontrollable. Looks like the Pigeon knows the buttons now. Its hovering and catapulting larger, and deadly bombs who struck along Dalton street. Cars were on fire and countless police cars were blocking the street. ‘Oh that damn little Pigeon.’ I insult.

An idea struck my head like a lightning strike. I grab the bagel and lift it up in the sky. The case turns to me and lands softly on the ground. I step forward a little and try to get the suitcase. The Pigeon won’t trust me and makes it harder as well. But I know I'll eventually get it. I through the bagel high in the air so the Pigeon looks up at it leaving the case wide open. I whack the bird out of the way and then, the bagel lands on the last thing I’d want it to. The big red button.

That very minute I heard so much. Sirens, screaming, drifting car wheels, more screaming, and lastly, a huge rocket launching. I check where the rocket was going in the mini computer set up in the suitcase. Click.  “Russia?! No!” I yelled. “I have to stop it.” So I fly up with the case and suddenly the Pigeon was right there. On my suit case. Somehow. I rise the gun. The bird freaks out. I shoot- wait, no I don’t, there were no more bullets left. I open the suitcase and that fateful bagel was sent falling down to Earth. The bird dives down following it. Looks like the bird wanted it… but I was free! I change to machine gun and click a button. The bomb flew towards the rocket. Then erupted...

I safely landed on the ground, where the day started. I spot the Pigeon gobbling on the bagel and the suitcase transformed back to its original form. I placed my dark sunglasses on my bulky nose. Then part of the rocket squashed the bird. I guess he deserved it. So I walk away like if nothing happened all day.

Zorb

I waited beside my sister in the cold breeze, chattering my teeth. The chunky, slate coloured van stopped in front of our eyes. A man walked out and greeted us. “So what are you doing first?” he asked. “The double straight.” my sister answered.
Speechlessly, we entered the old fashion, ripped van and drove up the hill.
He inserted about 4 litres of water in the empty sphere and he says, “right, now just superman-dive in.” He says. “Is the water cold?” I shiver. “No way! We wouldn't be so mean!” He considers. I was filled of relief when those words came out. My sister points to me and I slide in. The water was nice and warm! After me my sister came in as well.
“Ready?” He requests. We nod.

The next miller second we were splashing down the hill in the Zorb. We Start squealing with a large grin on our wet faces. The Zorb begins to bounce and we splash along. It was the best minute of my life. We stop at the bottom of the hill and jump out.

My dad shows us the video while we entered the spa pool at the back of the Zorb building. The Zorb felt so fast when we were inside but it was quite slow when your were viewing the video. It didn't matter how fast or slow we were going, as long as we were having so much fun. We stayed in the spa for a while, thinking about two things; Fun and Warmth.
It was one of my favourite birthdays ever.

Photography Challenge

Alone At Dusk

I itch my foot from the brutal mosquitos. I’m alone in the wild and dark field. The sun is setting and I’m still not under shelter. I need food. It wasn’t a good idea to investigate what was in that bunny hole. Now  I have dozens of bleeding scars from those harsh bunnies. It's getting darker and I’m freezing. I get my pocket knife and run. I see the sun reflecting on the lake nearby. Water! I run towards the healthy refreshment. I kneel down and drink. My throat felt so amazing I even smiled. But I wasn’t the only one drinking from the lake. I found 10 big, chunky, Hyenas. Lots of fresh meat. I am so nervous that they will hurt me. I slip into the water. They start laughing at me. But I don’t take it personally, you know, it’s kinda their thing. The sky is very foggy and I have run metres  away from the water. I find a mossy log and I sit, staring down at my mood ring with my name engraved on it. Felix.

'This is a moment I'm alone'

The luminous sun is shining through the large dark tree. The clouds are everywhere in the massive sky and the damp log is laying on the grass, alone. The air is breezy and cold, and the time is ticking. 'This is a moment I'm alone'

Waterslide Green Pastures

This was it. The moment of my first waterslide at green pastures. While I waited intensely in the long line, I watched the people slide down, imagining that being me. I really wanted to do it. I’d regret not doing it. But the reason I didn’t want to, is because the water that day was cold, but I don’t care, I’m meant to take risks. It was soon my turn and I started to shiver with nerve and fear. “Off you go.” Shooed a parent. I sit down and the water pushes me down the slide. I nearly tip over but I keep balanced. I felt like I was going to die from either frostiness or nervousness but with big bumps and speed I splash into the lake and swim to shore. All of a sudden I think to myself, ‘that’s something I’m surely going to do again.’ So I run up the hill and wait.

Enjoyment

There are some things that people must know about me before they read any of my other blogs. First of all the things   I enjoy most is my family. I am actually an only child but I live with my 2 half siblings. Daria, my 14 year old sister, loves dogs, and includes a lot of dream catchers in her art. Also my 17 year old brother, Simon enjoys his computer and art. He also does workouts daily and he is improving his muscles becuase he used to be incredibly skinny for a teenager.

My parents also spend time with me and my reletives. My mother Jagoda, preferably Anna is turning 39 this year. She works as a hairdresser and she cooks dinner every night. My father Daniel works at Massey with an important computer job. He always renevates our house into a miracle.

Never to forget my beloved dog, a happy, normal, labrador. We call him Lukey and he enjoys being patted and he lkes running. I personally enjoy writing books, using devices and bouncing on the trampoline we have at home. I really like enjoying time with my family. I am 9 at the momment but I am trying to get used to being 10, even though my birthday is all the way in April. How about I tell you a story.

It started in Eastborne, a lovely city known for its beach, in the south part of England. My family was very happy there, and so was I. I lived there for four years and unfortunately leaving my friends, my house, my furniture, I had to leave. Can you imagine how sad I was? I lost everything that happened and had to start a new life. But, the new life wasn't actually so bad. We stayed at a hotel for 1 month then stayed at a house that we borrowed and then borrowed another house and then moved into our very own house where I live now. In the meantime I started in New Entrance. Miss Bradly said I'm smart enough to skip a year to year 2. And for 5 years until now as a year six I am still nearly the smallest.

My mum says I'm a very small year six, but the reason I am is explained right above. I am a happy year six. Tiny or tall, smart or not, I really enjoyed my years as a College Street kid. Now I just want to thank, Miss Bradly, Miss Willams, Mrs Elgar, Mr Healy, Mrs Liddell, Mr Robertson, Miss Gordon, Mrs Dennison, and of course lastly Mr Kennedy, for teaching me my way through College Street.

What teachers did you have in you Primary years? Please comment below and stay tuned for more posts.
